• Lowered school tax on seniors in Bartow County and continue working on senior school tax relief in Cartersville/Bartow County
• Lowered property tax on seniors in the city of Cartersville
• Capped property taxes for Bartow County (including the 3% annual assessed-value increase limit tied to CPI that took effect this year) and carried local legislation increasing homestead exemptions for Cartersville, Bartow County, and Bartow County Schools
• Established the Honor & Remember Flag as the state’s official emblem for the sacrifice and service of the Armed Forces

• Secured the state acquisition of the 14,000-acre Pine Log Mountain Wildlife Management Area in Bartow County - one of the state’s largest land purchases - permanently conserving the land for public use including hiking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and camping (worked with Georgia DNR, the Governor’s Office, and local officials)
• Supported Georgia businesses by reducing government bureaucracy
• Expanded HOPE Scholarship eligibility
• Created the Support Our Troops license plate and the Boys & Girls Club license plate
• Updated Georgia law to increase consumer protection and fraud reduction
• Supported legislation calling for Congressional Term Limits
• Designated the intersection of Hwy 113 and Joe Frank Harris Parkway as Sgt. Stanley Thomas Bradley Veterans Memorial Intersection
