Meet MATTHEW

Representative Gambill represents House District 15, which encompasses Cartersville, Emerson and Allatoona, along with portions of unincorporated Bartow County.
Matthew Gambill is a life-long resident of Bartow County and comes from a family with a long record of service to his community. He is a graduate of Cartersville High School and holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Lee University.
Matthew currently serves as the director of business development for NFP. In this role, Gambill is responsible for sales team leadership, driving revenue, maintaining and growing business relationships and is a key part of the implementation of new business plans and the penetration of new markets. NFP is a market leader in public entity benefits for city and county governments, school systems and for private industry.
Prior to joining NFP, he spent more than 14 years building relationships in the public and private sector while serving as executive director for the Georgia Association for Career & Technical Education (GACTE). During his tenure, GACTE tripled its membership and saw annual revenues exceed $1 million. GACTE is currently the second largest Association for Career & Technical Education state chapter in the United States.
Matthew worked as an intern for the House Higher Education and Education committees. It was during this time that Matthew met his wife, Danae, a former State Representative from Columbus.
Matthew also serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs Georgia Alliance. He is a member of the Georgia Society of Association Executives, Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Economic Developers Association.
Gambill is a graduate of the 2007 Leadership Bartow Class, a graduate of the 2010 Leadership Georgia Class and was selected by the Georgia Trend Magazine for their 2012 “40 Under 40” publication.
